Booker "My Favorite Neighbor" Cabernet Sauvignon

Dark-fruited, classic aromas of blackcurrants, cedar and tobacco. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins and acidity, showing notes of blackberries, cassia bark, dried herbs and leather. Very savory and austere. Made from a blend of 79% cabernet sauvignon, 8% malbec, 6% syrah, 4% petite sirah and 3% petit verdot. Drink or hold.

Sweet herbs combine with cloves and dried black cherries as the darling 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon blossoms in the glass. Racy and sleek, it offers ripe citrus-infused red and black fruits elevated by nuances of cola and spice, while a stream of vibrant acidity maintains fantastic balance. Mocha mingles with fine tannins as this finishes with medium length and a licorice tinge.

The nose features a mix of red and black fruits with a touch of bramble. On the palate, it offers well-structured tannins yet remains approachable and enjoyable, whether sipped solo or paired with food. An easy drinker with a bit of heft, this is perfect for backyard barbecue fare, bringing just the right amount of complexity and depth.

The 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Armory spent 20 months in 100% new French oak. The nose is driven by soft, mellow aromas of black cherry and red plum. Unlike many of the more concentrated bottlings in this range, the palate is direct and refreshingly medium-bodied. The finish splits the difference between an easygoing, juicy succulence and a modern, polished, fine tannic structure.
