Coto de Gomariz "X" Albarino

The 2024 X Albariño was initially produced with grapes from slate soils, but it now also has grapes from sandy granite soils, which provide more tension and acidity, and also 5% Treixadura. It has a primary nose, very young, elegant and harmonious. The palate is fresh and varietal, with notes of white fruit, herbs and flowers, and it has very good balance and fine minerality. 10,000 bottles produced. It was bottled unoaked in April 2025.

The 2024 Albariño Gomariz X comes from the Gomariz vineyard in Ribeiro. It opens with baked apple, moderated tropical fruit, lime zest and light terpenic hints. This is currently somewhat closed after just two months in bottle. The palate is firm, with intensity and a malic profile.
