The 2022 Morgon Côte du Py is backward on the nose, but it seems to have commendable purity of fruit with a subtle floral element lending complexity. The palate is medium-bodied with crunchy blackberry and wild strawberry, a brisk line of acidity and a structured finish that doesn't impose too strongly. Give this a couple of years in bottle, and you'll have a fine Côte du Py on your hands.
