The quirky 2023 Sauvignon Blanc Tee was named because green tea extract was used instead of sulfur to protect the wine from oxidation. This is characterful, idiosyncratic and organic with no added sulfites. Expect rich apple, lemon, honey tea and chamomile flavors with a note of warming Indian-inspired spice on the textured mid-palate. It has a gourmet finish and succulent acidity joined by tannins, lending satisfying grip. This is certainly not your stereotypical Kiwi Savvy B.
