St Innocent Pinot Noir "Momtazi Vyd."

The 2019 Pinot Noir Momtazi Vineyard is dark and brooding, opening with an earthy blend of woodland berries, cedar shavings, wild herbs and cloves. This mixes sweet and sour sensations as ripe red berry fruits sweep across the palate in silken textures, contrasted by a tinge of sour citrus and saline minerals toward the close. It leaves a resonance of violet candies and edgy tannins to linger on, finishing with admirable length and a pleasantly chewy sensation.

Medium ruby, the 2019 Pinot Noir Momtazi Vineyard is tarry on the nose, with muddled red and black fruit and meaty tones. The full-bodied palate is oddly oily, with muddled, earthy flavors and a tarry, somewhat bitter finish.
