Trefethen Merlot "Oak Knoll"

Trefethen's 2022 Merlot Estate Grown is herbal, with oregano shadings merging into slightly tomato-like, cherry-ish fruit, while adding some strawberry notes as well. It's medium-bodied, with a decently silky texture, but the flavors here are entirely too vegetal-herbal for this taster.
