Willakenzie Estate Pinot Noir Willamette Valley

The 2022 Pinot Noir La Crete is darkly alluring, smoldering up with nuances of sage, cedar dust and dried roses that complement black cherries. Energy and elegance are on display, with a polished wave of ripe red and blue fruits driven by fresh acidity as violet inner florals build toward the close. A spicy tinge and coating of grippy tannin remain as the palate salivates and a spicy sensation slowly fades.

A blend of two estate sites, 70% WIllakenzie from and 30% Jory Hills Vineyard, with classic Willamette Valley fresh berries. Sweet herbs and lilac with savoury notes of chicory root on the palate that is balanced by red brambles and a finish of sea salnitiy.

Matured for 12 months in 29% new French oak, the 2022 Pinot Noir Willamette Valley has open-knit aromas of red and black cherry, tea leaves, earth, spice and floral perfume. The medium-bodied palate features elegant, nuanced flavors. It has a silky frame of tannins, vibrant acidity and a long, layered finish. 6,885 cases produced.
