A youthful transparent ruby color, the 2022 Pinot Noir Marine Sedimentary is completely different and delivers a more brothy, savory side, with notes of dark stones, dark berries, and wild herbs. It's more structured and powerful on the palate, with good length and a great finish. It's going to have some aging potential over the coming 8-10 years.

The 2022 Pinot Noir Marine Sedimentary unfurls in the glass with a pretty blend of dusty earth, rose petals and dried strawberries. This seduces with soft textures and vividly ripe wild berry fruits, all guided by a stream of tantalizing acidity. Saine minerality defines the finish as a coating of fine-grained tannins clenches the senses, leaving a licorice tinge to linger on.

The 2022 Pinot Noir Marine Sedimentary was fermented with various percentages of whole clusters and matured in used oak. It has slowly unfolding scents of red cherry, cranberry, blood orange, iodine and earth. The light-bodied palate is delicately styled with crunchy red fruit, softly astringent tannins, mouthwatering acidity and an understated, spicy finish. 422 cases were made.
