The 2022 Justice Vineyard designate comes from six blocks spanning the northern section of the vineyard. Justice has historically been the most imposing and muscular of our offerings, and 2022 is no exception; a dense, well-structured wine with balanced acidity and an abundance of black fruits and well-integrated barrel spice on the palate. As with all our wines from 2022 (and our wines in general) the Justice will benefit from at least 3-5 years in the bottle and have much more to give with more time.

Pouring a ruby/magenta hue, the 2022 Pinot Noir Justice Vineyard offers concurrent but very different notes of incense, a hint of clove or cardamom spice, and wildflowers. Medium-bodied, it has a more coiled approach on the palate, with fine tannins, even, ripe acidity, and a mouthwatering finish with notes of dark crushed stones. It's certainly not lacking in structure.

The 2022 Pinot Noir Justice Vineyard displays an intense and beguiling blend of currants, grilled herbs, crushed ashen stones and savory herbs. This is round and soothing with cooling acidity and a lifted feel throughout as ripe red berry fruits wash across the palate, giving way to a sensation of liquid stone. It leaves the cheeks puckered, tapering off with a lasting tension as silty tannins saturate.

Refined and handsomely structured, this red offers lively flavors of cherry and pomegranate accented by green tea and dusky spices. Builds tension toward fine-grained tannins. Drink now through 2032. 680 cases made.
