Château La Croix des Pins Gigondas 'Les Dessous des Dentelles' 2021 is an elegant, medium-to-full-bodied Southern Rhône red known for its red fruit (raspberry, cherry) and garrigue (herbs like rosemary, juniper) aromas, balanced by spices (cinnamon, dark chocolate) and smooth, velvety tannins, offering freshness and complexity from its unique high-altitude terroir near the Dentelles de Montmirail mountains, primarily Grenache-based, with great aging potential.

Although this wine could benefit from additional cellaring, it presents all the components to impress. The nose is red fruited and potpourri filled, with a touch of cinnamon stick. Youthful tannins and brisk acidity are clearly present but have yet to harmonize into the wine. Cellar through 2024 before revisiting.
