Expression is the premier cuvée of this excellent estate! It is a wine that shows the beautiful ripe fruit aromas one expects to get from the village of Cumières, along with floral nuances and flavors of pear, Meyer lemon, and toasted brioche. The grapes are gathered thorugh manual harvesting and sent to a traditional Coquard wine press. Plot-by-plot vinification in temperature-controlled enamelled steel vats are used, and the wine spends at least 40 months on its lees before release!

Geoffroy's NV Brut Premier Cru Expression is totally alive in the glass. Vibrant and delineated, the Expression bursts from glass with dried pears, flowers, almonds and Chamomile. A blend of 47% Pinot Meunier, 40% Pinot Noir and 13% Chardonnay, the Expression is all about texture and volume from the red grapes, which give tons of richness without detracting from the wine's essential energy, tension and pure drive. A crystalline, layered finish rounds things out beautifully. This is a great showing from a wine loaded with class. Disgorgement date: April 2012. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2016.

A mouthwatering version, with firm acidity swathed in the creamy, finely detailed mousse, this offers a rich, tightly meshed range of ripe black cherry, preserved lemon, toasted brioche, smoke and pastry cream flavors. A minerally underpinning drives the finish. Pinot Meunier, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Disgorged September 2024. Drink now through 2030. 750 cases imported.

This full-bodied wine is packed with citrus and tight, apple-driven acidity, as well as a rich touch of apricot. This fruitiness is balanced by a deliciously refreshing character that creates texture and a steely, minerally feel.
