Crisp, bright, and vivacious! The Chenin Blanc opens with vibrant aromas of kiwi and freshcut melon, followed by key lime zest and white flowers. Hints of honeysuckle, jasmine, white peach, and nectarine add depth of flavor. The Viognier lends a luscious mouthfeel with exotic notes of lychee and orange blossom, while the Chenin Blanc provides structure and a signature citrus character. The palate is clean and crisp, balancing refreshing acidity with gentle sweetness for a harmonious finish-perfect on its own or paired with a variety of dishes. This versatile wine pairs well with a number of dishes, from light salads to seafood, and most notably with foods with a hint of spiciness - its subtle sweetness provides balance alongside a touch of heat. It's the perfect pour for the start of an evening with appetizers such as goat cheese, radishes, and olives. Also try with a flavorful Thai curry, a frittata with sweet onions and ricotta, or a shrimp and avocado tostada.
Gary Andrus founded Pine Ridge Vineyards in 1978. Awestruck by the unspoiled landscape and potential for world-class viticulture, Andrus planted Cabrernet Sauvignon in a rugged stretch of what is now the Stags Leap District. He sensed excellence here, convinced this was where the famous varietal could achieve that enrapturing balance between power and elegance.
At its core, sustainability is about working in tandem with the environment, ensuring that both the land and fruit will continue to thrive for generations to come. It’s a formula that not only respects the natural landscape and vital biodiversity at hand, but yields the most vibrant wines. We’re proud of our Napa Green certification and count on our in-house Green Team to continue to evolve our approaches — in the vineyard, winery, tasting room, and beyond — so that our future place in this remarkable environment is secure and symbiotic.
