70% Zinfandel, 16% Primitivo, 6% Petite Sirah, 2% Syrah, 2% Grenache, 2% Mourvedre, 2% Cabernet Sauvignon. On the nose, bing cherry, ripe blackberry, white pepper, and blueberry jump out of the glass. Leading into concentrated dark fruits on the palate, with ripe plum and a hint of anise.

Fermented in stainless steel and small open top bins. The fruit was 100% sorted and de-stemmed. The must spent 20 days on the skins with frequent punch downs. Aged in mostly neutral French oak barrels for 12 months. The fruit is sourced from some of the best growers in Paso Robles; Michael Dusi's Paper Street Vineyard &J. Dusi Vineyard, and in Lodi; Markus Bokisch's Dairy Vineyard & Suess Vineyard
