A warm, Mediterranean vine-growing paradise, in Abruzzo, the distance from mountains to seaside is relatively short. The Apenniness, which run through the center of Italy, rise up on its western side while the Adriatic Sea defines its eastern border.The vineyards nestled in the low hills of the northern province of Teramo set the stage for the highest standard of quality grapes, producing a red of irresistible character.
Carefully selected grapes are harvested by hand at the peak of ripeness are then carefully fermented at controlled temperatures to preserve the freshness of fruit aromatics and flavors with maximum intensity of color. Intense expressions of rich, ripe dark cherry and raspberry fruit, with hints of cocoa and spicy notes.
