This 2022 Sancerre combines all three of the appellation's soil types resulting in a brightly fruited, sunshine-filled style. It has a tenderness, providing a soft texture common in Sancerres grown on limestone plots before closing with a line of taut acidity and a sense of direction. You can expect aromatic freshness, reminiscent of elderflower, lemon and pear, but the finish fades rather too quickly. Very attractive summer drinking, nevertheless.
